Shortly after Grace and Wayne were married in 1960, Grace began painting with oils on canvas for fun. She continued painting on a limited basis while the children were young. In 1984, she began painting with acrylic paints and immediately fell in love with the process. She soon realized that she needed an outlet for her creativity.

Wayne had always been interested in woodworking, so it seemed natural to combine their talents. In 1985, Grace and Wayne, as Grace's Country Corner, participated in their first craft show. The enthusiasm of their customers was so rewarding and all the inspiration they needed to continue. They have been busy ever since.

Over the years, Grace and Wayne have enjoyed meeting their customers, many of whom have become friends. They feel fortunate to be able to do something they love and provide customers with a piece of art that they can enjoy for years.

In 2016, Wayne and Grace decided to downsize their business and devote more time travel and enjoy retirement. They sold their house in Deerfield and moved to a lovely condo in Raymond, NH.  They no longer have a shop and have reduced the number of craft shows.
